Unfortunately our cancellation policy has had to become stricter than in previous years.

We believe that horse riding is a sport that should be avaliable for all to enjoy (and as a country we are pretty good at it!!) So we endeavor to keep our lesson prices down.

However, for the prices to remain low we will now keep to a very strict 24 hour cancellation policy for all circumstances, whether this be a family emergency, Coronavirus etc.

Horses are not at all cheap to keep fed, watered, shod, vaccinated, saddled, up to date with physio and dentist (that’s before mentioning our astronomical business rates!) We even have to pay to get rid of their naturally fertilising poo! So if you cancel for any reason after 24hrs I’m afraid that there will be no refund.

We ride in all weathers apart from heavy snow so please bear this in mind – especially for young children. If the weather looks bad and you think it will be off putting for your child then please cancel/edit their lesson ahead of time so that an older child or adult that doesn’t mind the weather can fill the spot (these mad people do exist!)

If you arrive at the stables and the weather is bad and you or your child do not want to ride we will always be happy to do a stable management session instead where you/they could learn about grooming, tacking up, feeding, native breeds, colours and markings, riding theory etc.

If you cancel online with 24hours notice then the credit will be added straight back to your ecpro account. TOP TIP if you edit the lesson to a future date instead of cancelling then you will not have to pay the booking fee again

Clients have the right to refuse any horse or instructor assigned to them however if this means that you miss your session that day without 24 hours notice then you will not receive a refund.
